Ancora esordi italiani / More Italian debuts

Il mio post sugli esordi italiani, in realtà facente parte di un argomento iniziato già anni fa, sembra piacere a molti.

In parte per gli interessati ai primi goffi (o anche no) tentativi di scrittori oggi super acclamati, in parte per procurarsi il famoso "investimento". Ormai tutti i collezionisti sanno che se uno scrittore raggiunge la fama, il suo esordio nel tempo crescerà di prezzo (vedi ad es. Vassalli con Disfaso).

Pubblico così altre due opere prime a vostra disposizione, segnalatemi da Gabriele.

Una è questa di Silvia Ballestra, al momento in vendita a 60 euro, i cui libri oggi vengono contesi da Rizzoli, Mondadori e Feltrinelli.

Il secondo è L'amore molesto della Ferrante, da cui è stato tratto pure un film di Martone. La Ferrante è stata proposta da Saviano al Premio Strega ed è molto amata anche in America.

Come mi suggerisce Gabriele, il libro in prima edizione non è comune.

They are partly interested in the first clumsy (or not) attempts of now-acclaimed writers, and partly in knowing more about finding “the investment”. By now, all collectors know that, if an author rises to fame, the value of his first works will increase over time (it’s the case of Vassalli with Disfaso).

Here are two more debut novels for you, kindly indicated by Gabriele.

The first one was written by Silvia Ballestra, over whose books publishers Rizzoli, Mondadori and Feltrinelli are currently in open dispute. The book is now priced at €60.

The second one is Elena Ferrante’s L’amore molesto, which was also transposed into a movie by film director Martone. She is particularly appreciated in the United States, after Italy obviously, where she participated in the 2015 Strega Award, with Saviano as her sponsor.

As noted by Gabriele, the book in its first edition is not very common.
