Riallacciandomi al discorso di un mio post legato al primo catalogo di Maurizio Cattelan, Biologia delle Passioni, colgo l'occasione per segnalare la mostra allestita presso la libreria antiquaria Ardengo di Roma (a due passi da Campo dé Fiori), intitolata ITALIA 70/80 ARTEDESIGNARCHITETTURA 20 anni che sconvolsero (quasi) il mondo e curata da Stefano Casciani.
La mostra, accompagnata da un catalogo antiquario che propone i testi alla vendita, ripercorre la storia di quei vent'anni attraverso dei libri significativi tratti dal design, dall'architettura e dall'arte, come quelli di Sottsass, Cucchi o Enzo Mari. Non manca, anche se in minima parte, la presenza di Maurizio Cattelan, rappresentato da una foto in bianco e nero e dal mitico catalogo diventato ormai un chiodo fisso per chi scrive...
Infine, il catalogo è proposto anche in occasione della mostra dedicata a Maurizio Cattelan (10 novembre - 10 dicembre 2012), organizzata a Torino da Giorgio Maffei, antiquario e studioso del libro d'artista, e dallo studio bibliografico L'Arengario di Gussago.

Tutto ciò conferma la mia ipotesi che si tratti di un testo significativo per l'arte degli ultimi decenni.
Going back to what I said in my post about the first Maurizio Cattellan's exhibition catalogue, Biologia delle Passioni, I want to bring the attention to an exhibition organized in the Ardengo antiquarian library based in Rome (near to Campo de' Fiori), called ITALIA 70/80 ARTEDESIGNARCHITETTURA 20 anni che sconvolsero (quasi) il mondo and curated by Stefano Casciani.
The exhibition, accompanied by the antiquarian catalogue which offers some books for sale (I must say that some of these have extremely and unjustified high prices, compared to other Internet's, sometimes offering them for less then a half...), goes back to these past twenty years through its significant books from the design, architecture and art, like those from Sottsass, Cucchi or Enzo Mari. Although in a small part, there are also books from Maurizio Cattelan, who is represented with a black and white photo and with the legendary catalogue, which has now become for me almost an obsession...
Surprisingly, to conclude, the catalogue is proposed (obviously) also in the occasion of the exhibition organized by the antiquarian librarian and the artist's book researcher Giorgio Maffei and by the book reseller L'Arengario from Gussago (10 november - 10 dicember 2012), dedicated to Maurizio Cattelan's books.
All these informations are confirming my opinion that it's a very important text for the history of ar.
