"In a moment like that how can we sell books like these, antique rare precious however you want but without an utility?" This way starts this collective catalogue, totally unrealeased before, where there are reunited the Studio Bibliografico L'Arengario, the Biggio bookshop, Coenobium, the studio Gribaudi, Giorgio Maffei's, the Antiquariaat Papyrus and the Libreria Piani (at the link details of all bookshops).
Is the world of antiquarian books in crisis? I think not. It has only that changed in a good way: the real rare and important works are still collected, the ones conditioned by trends, on the contrary, are attracting less attention (how it has to be).
Looking at these catalogue you'll have the sensation that those librarians have perfectly in their mind what it's worth to save in case of fire... and the reading of it is very pleasure!
I'm not anticipating anything: just enjoy it!
