A rare from the Russian novelist, poet and critic Andrej Belyj has been sold in these days on Ebay for more than 80 euros.
It's a work which overall had three italian editions: the first in 1961, the second in 1980 from Einaudi too, in the Nuovi Coralli collection, and a special third one illustrated by Reynald Schmid, published in Geneve by Edito Service in 1972.
All editions are translated and curated by the great connoisseur of the Boemian and Russian culture Angelo Maria Ripellino, about whom I wrote widely a while ago.
Pietroburgo is the Belyj's most quoted novel based on a dynamite attack by a young man against his bureaucrat father. The book was defined by Vladimir Nabokov as one of the best 90s books.
