Agli appassionati delle sorelle Brontë (di cui ho scritto la settimana scorsa) propongo un'altra edizione piuttosto rara e di notevole bellezza: la seconda edizione italiana del famosissimo romanzo Jane Eyre, italianizzato Gianna Eyre (come anche il nome, che curiosamente diventa "Carlotta" in copertina, ma rimane immutato - Charlotte - al frontespizio).
La prima edizione assoluta uscì per Perrella l'anno precedente, ma questa rimane la più curiosa e quella graficamente più interessante.
To the lovers of the Brontë sisters (about whom I wrote last week) I suggest another rare and beautiful edition: the second Italian of the famous success Jane Eyre, italianized Gianna Eyre (as also the name that becomes Carlotta in the cover, but it remains the same on the frontispice).
The true first went out by Perrella the year before, but this remains the most curious and graphically interesting.
