I'm starting the week with an often forgotten beautiful classic: Hemingway's Addio alle armi, originally translated with an indefinite article (evoking the English title A farewell to arms).
The Italian edition was obstructed by Mussolini for a long time, then many years after the original American edition of 1929 was published by the pirate publishing house Jandi Sapi, which printed the main part of Hemingway's unreleased editions.
Unfortunatelly the translation was considered very bad, although I think that they made a good and very brave job.
Its valuations are arounf 25-40 euros.
