Svariati mesi fa affrontai l'argomento dell'importanza della sovraccoperta, individuandola come non strettamente necessaria ai fini della fruizione del libro, ma assolutamente indispensabile in termini collezionistici e di apprezzamento "fisico" di esso.
La fascetta editoriale non ricopre la stessa importanza, ma non è meno interessante e, se presente, aiuta ad alzare la valutazione del testo.
I bibliofili più colti sicuramente ricorderanno il caso della Vita di Pisto di Romano Bilenchi, la cui edizione originale fu munita di una quantomeno improbabile e ilare fascetta editoriale, che annunciava il successo clamoroso del libro addirittura in Massachusetts.
Il caso rimarrà sicuramente negli annali del collezionismo delle fascette editoriali.

Questo romanzo di Stephen King in prima edizione solitamente vende a 40-50 euro, ma questa volta, con la presenza della fascetta, ha raggiunto gli 80 a colpi di offerte.
Chi colleziona i libri dell'autore sicuramente non poteva perderla.
